Bikes Fight Cancer raises valuable funds for research and patient services, but really it is about empowering a community in the fight against cancer. What started as a small idea that Johnny and I had to bring a cancer ride to Western Mass has become a community building event that supports the ground breaking work at Dana Farber, but also supports local organizations like Cooley Dickinson, Cancer House of Hope and Cancer Connection. This year, we hosted our 5th Bikes Fight Caner Charity Ride with over 700 participants!
In addition to being the event director for the Bikes FIght Cancer Ride, I am riding my 17th PMC this August I will be riding my bike from Sturbridge to the Cape to honor my mother who is in treatment at Cooley Dickenson and as always for my friend Stirling.
After 17 years of riding, this PMC is more personal than ever. My Mom is going through treatment at MGH and Cooley Dickenson.
100% of donations support valuable cancer care services to patients, families and caregivers as well as funding hospitals focused on advancing cancer research.

Overview:
Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride, Powered by Valley Solar is an exciting FUNdraising bike ride in Western Mass, where every pedal contributes to funding organizations providing cancer care and services. Choose your ride with 25-mile and 50-mile routes traversing the picturesque Pioneer Valley and along the Connecticut River. The 50-mile ride promises an extra thrill with rewarding views for riders. After the ride, enjoy post-event activities like a kids trail ride, awesome food trucks, and, of course, enjoy Tree House's exceptional beer. This is an unmissable event!

Bikes Fight Cancer Inc. is a Western Massachusetts 501(c)(3) that uses its love of bikes to lessen the burden of a cancer diagnosis for patients, families, and caregivers. Through athletic events like the Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride and the Bikes Fight Cancer PMC Team, we aim to empower a community to participate, donate, and fundraise in the fight against cancer.
