Hey, guys...it's Ali!
In August I’ll be "Golden Retriever waddling" with the Saint Anselm College team in the Delta Dental/Elliot Corporate 5K Road Race in downtown Manchester to provide funding for patient programs and services at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot serving our families, friends, and neighbors.
Funds raised through the Cigna/Elliot Corporate Road Race will support patient programs at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care at The Elliot. 100% of your donations will provide funding for programs and services at the Solinsky Center for Cancer Care including nutrition assistance and programs, rehabilitation therapy, integrative medicine, and support programs for patients as they manage their journey with cancer. Specialized programs include:
Yoga and meditation - a 20 year student with the "inner peace" of Shifu from KUNG FU PANDA
Art Therapy - Lolo and Terry....this one's for you
Journaling classes - Peggy and Timmy...you know the healing power of the written word
Game Nights for cancer survivors - Been D&Ding with the Football guys since college; fun times
Acupuncture and Reiki - not a fan of needles, but Reiki really helped my Aunt Judy
Cooking Classes for specialized and healthy food options during treatment - NOW we're talkin'!!!
The Solinsky Center at Elliot Hospital offers radiation oncology, medical oncology with state-of-the-art technology, caring and skilled health care providers, in one convenient location. Along with the expansion of clinical services, our Patient and Family Nurse Navigator Program provides additional support to patients and their caregivers. Nurse navigators help patients with understanding different care options, provide scheduling and billing support, and assist with patient advocacy. Together, we ensure Hope is Here.
Please consider making a donation, at any level that works for you, to help me reach my fundraising goal. Your donation is tax deductible, and you will receive an automated gift receipt when you make your gift. Thank you for your support, and for helping to improve the cancer services and treatments available locally.
Kindly,
Ali Hogan
