Hello friends and family!
Competing in the VT 100 is a challenge that I look forward to meeting this summer. However, there are people out there for whom just getting out to walk can be a challenge. Yet they need outdoor sports as much as anyone. Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months. Vermont Adaptive offers financial support for anyone who needs it to participate.
If you know my personal story, you know I know someone very closely with vision challenges, and she is very lucky that they were not more serious. I can just imagine that she could be a person who needs this program. And for all kids who were not as lucky, let's make this program stronger together.
Please donate even $5 or $10 to create together memories to last a lifetime.
Thank you!
Karel
