Welcome to our Team Noah fundraising page. We're pumped to raise money for a cause we believe in, especially one that's been close to our heart since Noah's Journey began. The Last Rider Standing race approach only heightens the opportunities for fun and we're excited to support the mission.
We have a handful of local riders from Shop Community that are planning on racing towards the cause, and we're hoping you could join our team in supporting the mission by donating. Whether it's 1 dollar, or 100 dollars. There's no right or wrong amount, and we'd be equally grateful for every donation received, as would the entire Team Noah Organization.
To make things more interesting, you could make a written/verbal commitment to a specific rider backed by an amount you'd like to donate per lap, challenging that rider to see how much money they'd like you to donate! Hah
Whether you're racing, spectating, or simply a friend of the shop, we hope you consider joining our efforts to support the Team Noah Organization at the Last Miner Standing.
Thanks!
Last Miner Riding
The Team Noah Foundation Last Miner Riding is a bit of a different format of mountain biking format. At 9:00am (the top of the hour) everyone starts the 8 mile course (5 mile for Juniors at 9:15). Everyone is allotted 1:15 minutes to complete the first mountain bike loop. Thus, for example if you finish in 45 minutes you rest and recover until the the top of the next hour at 10:15 am and you start the 8 mile loop again. We will be taking 5 minutes off of each lap until we get to 45 minutes, where we will battle it out to the end. You must be at the start line at the start time for the next lap or you are out of the competition. This continues until the Last Miner Riding remains. It isn't about how fast you can ride each lap, it's about how many laps you want to ride. Just a fun day in the woods with a bunch of friends! We will have a top male and top female prize for the Open catagories and the Juniors, but that's about it.
Team Noah Foundation
The Team Noah Foundation was started in 2011 by Bettina and Dwayne Gosinski after losing their son to congenital heart defect (CHD). Our aim is to help families spend more time with their child, while also making ends meet at home. Our current president, Jennifer Hesselbach, is continuing the mission of the Gosinski Family. The Hesselbachs lost their son, Lucas, to a congenital heart defect in November 2018. By continuing the important work of The Team Noah Foundation, we have been able to help many families affected by CHD over the past 10 years.
