Empty Arms Bereavement Support is a Western Massachusetts-based non-profit organization offering resources and support to families across the region who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.
After my son Ziggy was stillborn in June of 2021, Empty Arms' support made it possible for me to begin a healing journey and I am lucky enough to get to work alongside them as a peer helper and will forever be grateful for their care. To carry on in the tradition that offered hope to me after loss is incredibly meaningful, and my son continues to be my major motivation for carrying on.

Syrup Stampede
The Syrup Stampede to benefit Empty Arms Bereavement Support features a 5k race, 2k fun run/walk, and pancake breakfast with local maple syrup. Our fifth annual Stampede will take place April 7, 2024 at Look Park.

Empty Arms Bereavement Support serves individuals and families in Western Massachusetts whose babies have died through miscarriage, stillbirth, early infant death, or termination for medical reasons. By cultivating personal connections, creating a compassionate community, and fostering professional collaborations, we provide grieving parents with valuable resources and validation as they navigate the murky days, weeks, and lifetime without their baby.
