Hello, friends! Once again this year I am participating in the Ride for Mental Health, a 50-mile bike ride through the hills of upstate NY. This ride, which raises money for McLean Hospital, is meaningful every year, but this year, it's even more so.

This will be my seventh year participating in the Ride, and typically, I use this page to write something about how excited I am to bike alongside some of the most amazing women I know. These ladies are amazing and I am very excited to spend time with them as we train here in Boston and ride in NY at the end of June. But I also am very aware just how challenging this ride is. It's 50 miles of riding through hills in temperatures that often exceed 90 degrees. Last year I cried more than once during the four (plus!) hours on my bike and when I finished, I swore that was the last time I would do this ride.

And yet here I am, ready to do this again. (Well, I'm not entirely ready yet, but training has begun and I will be ready come late June!) All of the money raised during this ride goes to McLean Hospital, supporting the incredible work they do to help those who suffer from mental illness.

I’d love your support to help me and the team reach our fundraising goal. Thank you!
