Hey my name is Jamie Leuchs-Curtis and I am going to run the Hot Chocolate Run this year. I'm 13 years old and I support Safe Passage because it is an amazing organization supporting a very important cause. On the other hand I run the Hot Chocolate Run because of the hot chocolate at the end.
My mom is the chair of the board of Safe Passage which is an organization that gives support to mostly moms and children in need of a safer environment to live in because of domestic violence within their family. It is also the organization (if some how you hadn't noticed) that the Hot Chocolate Run supports.
Last year the Hot Chocolate Run alone raised a little less than $300,000. To put it simply, that's a lot. But I bet even though it's still only 5500 people running the Hot Chocolate Run this year that we can raise even more money than last year. That will only happen if more people set up their pledge page and more people donate more money. Last year I raised $260 and this year I hope to raise $500. YOU can start or continue to help by donating to my pledge page.

Stepping Up for Safe Passage!
Safe Passage is the organization in Hampshire County building safety, hope and justice for families who have lived with domestic violence. Adults and kids come to Safe Passage for a variety of programs: an emergency shelter, counseling and support groups, legal advocacy, and so much more. We also work to prevent domestic violence before it happens through our community engagement programs. We hope you'll join us in our work by making a donation! Learn more at our
