The Bahati Foundation, founded by professional cyclist Rahsaan Bahati, serves youth in Southern California. Bahati grew up in Compton and knows the challenges kids there face, and how cycling can make a positive impact on their lives. The Bahati Foundation works through schools to provide bikes, gear, and training to both competitive and non-competitive young riders.
“Being a product of schools in Compton and Los Angeles, I realize that inner-city students face a huge lack of resources and access to better educational resources,” says Executive Director Rahsaan Bahati. “I have a deep passion to give back, which is at the core of our foundation.”
