Our community is in urgent need of year-round aquatic resources. From infants to seniors, Cape Cod residents currently have limited access to safe swimming facilities and wellness-focused aquatic activities. That’s why our nonprofit organization is working to build the Cape Cod Aquatic Center, a visionary facility that will provide essential water safety programs, fitness opportunities, and community connection for all ages. 

Cape Cod’s unique landscape, with 500 miles of coastline and 900 kettle ponds, offers remarkable natural resources, yet very few places for residents to swim or learn water safety. We envision an accessible aquatic center that will serve as a vital community hub and, during the summer season, a draw for visitors, boosting the local economy through specialized programming and events.

Second Summer Cycle

The Second Summer Cycle is the perfect event for riders of all levels, offering a picturesque journey through 8 historic Cape Cod towns and a strong commitment to rider safety. Four distances are being offered, 15, 33, 64, and 104 miles. The start and finish is at beautiful Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth where there will be a Finish Line Celebration from 12PM-5PM, including local beer, food trucks and live music.

Beneficiaries

A multitude of Cape Cod non-profit organizations will benefit from the monies generated by the riders, each of whom is asked to raise at least $250 for their non-profit of choice, or to be disseminated across all participating charities, in addition to the registration fee.

All money raised by the riders will be paid directly to the beneficiaries. Riders are expected to raise at least $250 each, and each beneficiary team is expected to raise $5,000. Many of the beneficiaries are working to rais e more than the $5,000.00.
