If you are here, it is likely because you hate cancer as much as I do. It is insidious and ruthless and has robbed us of people we love. But you are also probably here because you are frustrated with how research is funded and how insurance fails to cover things that people with cancer may need for treatment and recovery.
My friends Meghan and Johnny created the Bikes Fight Cancer charity to help fund those things that don't get covered--including helping cancer patients and their caregivers directly. 100% of all rider-raised funds support these services and also fund research.
Cycling is about community. We take care of each other, and this charity is just one of the ways the cycling communnity gives back to the people we love.

Overview:
Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride, Powered by Valley Solar is an exciting FUNdraising bike ride in Western Mass, where every pedal contributes to funding organizations providing cancer care and services. Choose your ride with 25-mile and 50-mile routes traversing the picturesque Pioneer Valley and along the Connecticut River. The 50-mile ride promises an extra thrill with rewarding views for riders. After the ride, enjoy post-event activities like a kids trail ride, awesome food trucks, and, of course, enjoy Tree House's exceptional beer. This is an unmissable event!

Bikes Fight Cancer Inc. is a Western Massachusetts 501(c)(3) that uses its love of bikes to lessen the burden of a cancer diagnosis for patients, families, and caregivers. Through athletic events like the Bikes Fight Cancer Charity Ride and the Bikes Fight Cancer PMC Team, we aim to empower a community to participate, donate, and fundraise in the fight against cancer. Through these activities, Bikes Fight Cancer can provide funding to organizations offering valuable cancer care and services, as well as those advancing cancer research.
