Hello friends and family!
It's that time of year again!!! I'll be running the Vermont 100 again this coming year and am excited to say I'm once again a part of Team Run 2 Empower, fundraising for Vermont Adaptive! AND...Giving Tuesday is upon us and that means that every dollar donated on Tuesday 11/29/2022 will be MATCHED!
I look forward to being involved in the VT 100 each year, but this coming year will be even more meaningful for me as it will be my 10th year! By the time I get to the start line, I will have spent a ridiculous amout of hours and miles training to meet the challenge of the race, but most of all I will have had months to do my best to fundraise for this amazing charity. I love supporting the efforts of Vermont Adaptive, as they offer folks who need a little extra assistance the support they need to bring outdoor recreation and health, fun and passion to their lives. Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs as well as wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities and Veterans. They offer a variety of programs to folks of all ages and backgrounds who are differently abled. Programs include downhill & Nordic skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months. As part of this amazing fundraising team, I am honored to be able to support the fact that Vermont Adaptive is able to offer financial support for anyone who needs it.
Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal too!
Thank you!
