Hello friends,
I've walked in the Hot Chocolate Run every year since my Mom passed in 2006. Participating in this event has always had significance for me, and this year even more so. I am now a member of Safe Passage's Board of Directors, where I hope my voice as a child survivor of domestic violence contributes to a world where women are safe, and children do not experience or witness family violence.
This year I am running the 5K. I'm excited and terrified and already sore, but I will be running with an amazing team of people who share my vision of safe families. We have set our collective fundraising goal at $1500.00. How cool would it be if we blew that out of the water?
Safe Passage is really, really important, and I am asking for your contribution to my run because I know it will make a difference right here in our community.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Big love,
Natasha
